We understand that sometimes a product might not be what you expected, that's why all returns to simplehuman ship free. This allows both you and us to easily track your returned item(s).

Returns are on us! We understand that (however unlikely) sometimes a product might not be what you expected, that's why all returns to Simplehuman are free of charge. This allows both you and us to easily track your returned item(s).

We're happy to arrange a return for you. Please email support@simplehuman.co.uk and supply the information in the points below. We’ll email you a DPD label so that you can drop it off at a collection shop.

  • Whether you'd prefer a QR code or printable label.
  • The reason for return.
  • Your customer order number – you’ll find this in your confirmation email and on the paper despatch note which came with your order.
  • What you’re returning
  • Please provide the serial number from your product (not applicable to plastic bins, compact dishrack, shower caddys, compost caddy, laundry hamper and small accessories)

Once you have been emailed your returns label and customs declaration:

  • Print your return label and customs declaration on two separate pieces of paper. Cut the return label along the dotted line and cut the customs declaration in half to separate the two copies.
  • Tape one of the customs declarations and the return label next to each other on the front of your parcel. Make sure that all the information is clearly visible, especially the barcode, that previous addresses and barcodes are covered, and that the return label does not protrude beyond the edge of the parcel.
  • Take the parcel to your local drop off point within 30 days of the return label being issued. If asked for the second copy of the customs declaration, please provide this, otherwise please keep it for your own record.

Please remember, items must be returned to us unused and in the original packaging within 45 days from the original date of purchase. Once we've received your item at Simplehuman, we will gladly refund you in full using your original payment method.

I'm sorry you've had a problem with your order! Please email our support team using support@simplehuman.co.uk with your order number and a photo showing what has been received and we will get this resolved for you.

Once we receive your product, it can take up to 10 working days (usually fewer) for the refund to appear in your original payment account. Refunds processed by PayPal may take longer.

If you would like to exchange an item, return the unused purchased product to us. In the meantime, you can immediately place another order for the item you want, or you can wait until we receive the returned item at Simplehuman and credit your account.
